RAGON DR. B.

Physician and Surgeon; Roseville; born in Ross Co., Ohio, in 1813; his father moved to the North of Ohio when he was about twelve years old; he commenced studying medicine with Dr. J. Lang when he was about twenty years old; studied with him one year, and finished his study with George W. Sampson, M. D.; at the age of twenty-four commenced practice, July 1837, and married Huldah Mather, Jan. 14, 1837; moved to Greenbush, Ill., 1842; practiced medicine two years, moved to Indiana in 1844, and in the same year moved back to Greenbush; in 1855 attended lectures at the Rush Medical College, Chicago, and graduated at the same place in 1856, and from 1842 to the present time have been in active practice; in 1846 booked from sixty to eight dollars a day for some time; when he came to Illinois he found Dr. Webster and Dr, Young, two as noble men as ever lived, and well skilled in their profession; Dr. Wright and Dr. Gillmore were practicing in this country.
