Anna C. Hendrickson
Anna Christina Hendrikson was born Anna Kristina Fallman in Östergötland Ian, Kättilstad parish on a farm named Glysebo. She was the daughter of Per Göran Fallman and Anna Mathilda Andersdotter. Anna had six brothers and sisters, she also had three step-siblings. She had a brother Per Johan who had immigrated in 1891 but died in Chicago the same year.
Anna immigrated in 1894, arriving in New York on Mar. 1, 1894 aboard the Teutonic. She then traveled to Kirkwood, Illinois. On Feb. 18, 1899 she married Ben Hendrikson who also immigrated from Sweden in 1888. They rented a farm on section 5 in Tompkins Township. In 1911 Anna traveled back to Sweden to visit her mother, her father had died in 1901.
Anna died on October 6, 1913 at the age of 38 of TB leaving four small children,Karl Gustaf, Esther Marie, Mabel Gretchen and Archie Gerald. She is buried at the Center Grove Cemetery in Kirkwood.
