Dr. H. A. Wyllys

Dr. H. A. Wyllys, former Wyoming resident, died at his home in Palatka, Fla., Thursday, July 17, aged 71 years. He was born January 16, 1876 at Kingston and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Wyllys.

He attended school at Kingston, later teaching for one year at the Kingston school. He was a graduate of Northwestern university, after which he followed the profession of a physician practicing in Wyoming for about 25 years.

He was united in marriage November 11, 1906 at Davenport Ia., to Miss Abbie L. Sellon, of Wyoming, who, with the following children, survives: Mrs. Willadeane Stephens, Palatka, Fla., Robert H., Winter Haven, Fla., Amos A., Hastings, Fla., Mrs. Evan Churchill, Knoxville, Tenn., and Harold R. of Lakeland, Fla.

Dr. Wyllys retired from practice about three years ago and with Mrs. Wyllys moved to Florida to make their home. His illness was of a long duration, during which time he was cared for in his home.

Funeral services for Dr. Wyllys were held Saturday, July 19, at 10 a. m. at Palatka with Rev. Nelms officiating and burial was at Palatka. He was a member of the Masonic lodge A. F. & A. M.
