Former Resident die in Kewanee

Kewanee - William Mason Trickle, 82, of Kewanee died at his residence Monday, March 18, 2002.

Born March 5, 1920, in Toulon to Clarence D. and Madge Kerns Trickle, He married Lila Stutler on February, 2, 1952, in LaFayette. She survives.

He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Trickle, one brother Robert, and one sister Mary; and both of his parents.

A World War 11 army veteran he served in the the landing at Normandy. He received the Purple Heart.

He worked for Hyster Co. in Kewanee for many years retiring in 1982.

Cremation has been accorded and burial of ashes will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by DeBolt- Kidd Funeral home in Toulon. Memorials may be make to Kewanee Hospital Hospice.

Note: May 4, 2002. Ashes of Wm. Trickle were buried today at the West Jersey Cemetery, West Jersey, Il.
