Last Rites For Mrs. Schaad, 29, of Bradford

Funeral services for Mrs. Gerald Schaad of Bradford, 29 years old and well known to the residents of Wyoming community, were held Sunday afternoon n the Bunker Hill church near Buda, with the Rev.. Mr. Brinkley, pastor, in charge. Interment was in the Bunker Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Schaad passed away Thursday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock in the Kewanee Public hospital after a short illness following the birth of a child.

The daughter of Howard and Agnes Pratt, she was born on April 17, 1915, on a farm near Neponset. She attended the Carper rural school and Neponset high school graduating from the later with the class of 1933. She later attended nurses training in Kewanee Public hospital and graduated with the class of 1938.

She was united in marriage to Gerald Schaad of Bradford on Dec. 31. 1942, in a ceremony performed in the Bunker Hill church and since the marriage the couple had made their home on a farm near Bradford. She was a loyal member of the Bunker Hill church.

She is survived by her husband and infant daughter, Karen Eunice; her Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pratt; a sister Doris and two brothers Lyman and Allan, also of Neponset.

Her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pratt of Buda and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alice Maddox of Akron, Ill., also survive.
