Hold Rites Saturday, Mrs. Nettie Cox Ross,70

Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Cox Ross, 79, of Wyoming, were held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon from the Cox Memorial home in that city. Rev. A R. Stowell officiated and service was given by Howard Graves, accompanied by Mr. Graves.

Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery. Pallbearers were Elgin Mahle, Edward Best, Percy Chaffee, William Faull, John Fling and Ben Butler.

She passed away at 4 o’clock Thursday morning at the home of her brother Harley Cox of southwest of Wyoming. She had been in failing health for some time.

Born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Cox near Wyoming on August 16, 1867, she was a resident of Stark county until 1917. She was married in that year to William Ross of Chicago and they made their home in that city until Mr. Ross passed away in 1942. Since that time Mrs. Ross had made her home with her brother Harley Cox, on the Cox homestead.

Surviving are her brother, Harley Cox; two nephews, Bernard Miller of Wyoming; Harley K. Cox, Stevenville, Michigan; three nieces, Mrs. Walter Gingrich, Duncan; Mrs. Hugh Ferris, Princeton; Mrs. William Knopp, of Sacramento, California.

She was preceded in by her husband, brother Hermie and infant brother and two sisters, Mrs. Mason Brockway and Mrs. Edgar Miller.
