Ruby V. Ricketts Dies at Age of 61; Rites Wednesday

Wyoming, June 30—Mrs. Ruby V. Ricketts, 61, of Wyoming died Sunday morning in St. Francis hospital in Kewanee, where she has been a patient for 22 days.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. CST, Wednesday at Cox memorial home in Wyoming. The Rev. Thomas Walsch will officiate. Burial will be in the Wyoming cemetery. Friends may call at the memorial home Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Born Oct 28, 1890 at Kirkland, she was the daughter of William and Minnie Sergent. She was married to Harry Ricketts, who died in October, 1936.

Mrs. Ricketts was a member of the Wyoming Methodist church, the Royal Neighbors of America and the Priscilla club. She attended Illinois State Normal university at Normal.

Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Donna Simmerman, Chicago; Mrs. Maxine Petty, Arizona and Mrs. Virginia Best, Wyoming and one sister Mrs. J. L. McLaughlin, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
