Death Comes to Albert Peterson Ill Two Weeks

Funeral services fro Albert M. Peterson, 72 years old, who passed away Wednesday noon in St. Francis hospital, Kewanee, where he had been a patient for two weeks, were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at Gillespie memorial home in Wyoming, with Rev. Lee H. Smith, pastor of the Princeville Presbyterian church, in charge. Interment was in Wyoming cemetery.

The song service was in charge of Mrs. Paul Walker, who sang “In the Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross,” with Mrs. Howard Graves as accompanist.

Pallbearers were: Everett Jackson, Richard Jackson, Glenn Beall, George Roberts, Martin Gehrt and Joseph Gehrt.

Albert M. Peterson, son of William and Mary Peterson, was born in Valley township, Stark county, Ill., on November 16, 1872 and spent most of his life in this vicinity, except for a few years residence in Kansas.

Mr. Peterson was married to Miss Bessie Gladfelter, who preceded him in death on November 1, 1933. He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Mary Shane of Independence, Iowa and Mrs. Florence McCullough of Peoria and one brother Ora Peterson, of Williams, Iowa.

Surviving are three sons, Alva Peterson of Duncan, Marion Peterson of Wyoming and Roscoe Peterson of Princeville; two brothers, Emery Peterson of Wyoming and James Peterson of Peoria, and a sister, Mrs. Belle Ault of Delavan, Ill., and 10 grandchildren.
