|DAHINDA - Perry Muckey, 57, Oak Run, died at 12:02 a.m. Monday
(Oct. 17, 2005) in Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville.
He was born Oct. 25, 1947, in Kewanee, the son of Phillip and
Irene Taylor Muckey.
He married Priscilla Iles on Nov. 27, 1965, in Toulon.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Lee (and Melanie) Muckey, Trevor,
Wis.; his mother of Toulon; two sisters, Pat (and Luke) Code,
Bradford, and Sharon (and Lynn) Keller, Wyoming; and three
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
He owned and operated Muckey Brothers Construction in Toulon for
35 years, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of Toulon City Council for nine years and served
on the Stark County School Committee of Ten. He was a member of Oak
Run Architectural and Environmental Control Committee, Oak Run Fish
and Sports Committee and Knox County Zoning Board. He was a
volunteer with the Toulon Fire Department for four years and Wyoming
Youth Association Program.
He was a member of Toulon United Methodist Church and attended
Victoria United Methodist Church.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at DeBolt-Kidd Funeral
Home, Toulon, with the Revs. Marty Briney, Paul Wier and Dr. Judy
Cook officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the
funeral home. Cremation will follow the service and graveside burial
of ashes will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Toulon Cemetery.

Chapel United Methodist Church, Dahinda United Methodist Church,
Toulon United Methodist Church, or Elmira United Presbyterian
