Mrs. Leslie King, Stringtown, Dies
WYOMING – Funeral services for Mrs. Leslie King, 64, of
Stringtown, who died Tuesday at 11:45 in Methodist Hospital, will be Friday at 2
p.m. in the Cox Memorial Home, Wyoming. The Rev. Theodore Kinne will conduct the
services and burial will be in the West Jersey Cemetery. Visitation after 4 p.m.
today at the memorial home.
Mrs. King was born Nov. 12, 1896 in West Jersey Township, the daughter of
Charles and Allie Sneideker Catton. She married Leslie King Dec. 6, 1919 in
He survives along with two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Updyke and Mrs. Alan Ford,
both of Wyoming; four sons, Floyd of Peoria, Gerald and Ralph of Wyoming, and
Dorrence of rural Toulon; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Riggen of
Laura, and Mrs. Bert Chamberlain of Williamsfield; two brothers, Lynn Catton of
Toulon and Cecil Catton of Wyanette.
