Simeon Graves

Wyoming.—Simeon Arthur Graves, 85, of Wyoming, died at 2:20 p.m. Friday in Methodist hospital, Peoria. He had been a patient there nine days after falling at his home fracturing his hip.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 CST Sunday in the Wyoming Congregational church, with the Rev. Joseph Carroll officiating. Burial will be in the Wyoming Cemetery. The Cox Memorial Home had charge of arrangements.

A son of Benjamin F. and Mary E. Webber Graves, he was born July 10, 1871 in Essex township. A lifelong resident of this area, he attended local schools and followed the occupation of farmer. He was married Feb. 22, 1894 to Susan Cornall. She died in 1945.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Dixon and Mrs. Emma Lloyd King, both of Wyoming; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother Quincy Graves, Wyoming.
