O. B. Giltner Dies Sunday, Services Today

Oliver B. Giltner, 85, died Sunday night in St. Francis hospital, Kewanee, where he had been a patient since Thursday.

He was born September 16, 1866, at New Washington, Ind., to Levi and Irene West Giltner. He married Mary Ellen Blaisdell on November 22, 1909.

He is survived by his wife, four children, Dr. Beryl, of Sheffield, Horace, of Peoria, Sgt. Bernard, of Scott Field, and Benedict, of Monmouth, and a brother, Lowry, of Tiskilwa. He was preceded in death by two daughters, three sons, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held this (Wednesday) morning at 9:00 a. m. at St. Johnís church in Bradford with a requiem high mass, the Rev. Msgr. Thomas Cleary, officiating.

Burial was in St. Johnís cemetery

Pallbearers were Bernard Fuertges, Greg Owens, Charles Laurenti, Glenn Thumma, Marvin Taylor and Clifford Harmon.

Visiting clergy were Father Hand, of Sheffield, and Father Phelan, of St. Francis hospital, Kewanee.
