|TOULON -- Mary Wilma Divelbiss, 73, of rural Toulon, died at
12:09 p.m., Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Methodist Medical Center,
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 13, at
DeBolt-Kidd Funeral Home, Toulon. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Wier will officiate.
Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, rural Bradford.
Memorials may be made to Bradford American Legion Post 445.
Born June 14, 1930, in Marshall County, Illinois, the daughter of
Frank and Mabel (Keen) Wright, she married Norbert Divelbiss on Jan.
20, 1950, in Bradford. He died in July of 1972.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Julie) Fletcher of
Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., Mrs. Steve (Chris) Chesser of Bradford and
Mrs. James (Areatha Elizabeth) Shaw of Champaign; a son, Robert
Divelbiss of Toulon; four grandchildren, Paul Hill, Tramain Britt,
Dominique Shaw and Latavia Shaw; and two brothers, Donald Wright of
Hinckley nd John Wright of Sparta. Her parents; a son, Jerry
Divelbiss; and two brothers also preceded her in death.
She worked at Colonial Hall Nursing Home in Princeton for many
years. She enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles, crocheting and her
grandchildren. She was a member of Boyd's Grove United Methodist
Church, rural Bradford.
