Arthur E. Cox Of Wyoming
Wyoming, June 19,--Funeral services for Arthur E. Cox, 73, retired Wyoming
farmer, who died at 2:35 a.m. today at St. Francis hospital, Peoria, will be 10
a.m. CST Monday at the Congregational church here with the Rev. D. R. Thomas
Burial will be in Wyoming cemetery. Friends may call at the Cox memorial home
here after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Born Nov. 12, 1879 in Essex township, Stark county, he was the son of Charles
Henry and Sarah Anne Graves Cox and married Sarah Humphrey Jan. 4, 1905.
She survives with three daughters, Mrs. Leona Darby of Westwood, Mass., Mrs.
Gladys Hyde of Springfield, and Mrs. Ruth Daily of Canton; a son, Clifford of
North English, Iowa; three brothers, Lloyd of Osborne, Mo., Ralph of Peoria, and
Charles of Wyoming; and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Nicholas and Mrs. Fanny
Gamble, both of Long Beach, Cal.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert Arthur in 1935, and a child in
infancy, three sisters, and two brothers.
