Wyoming—Mrs. Dora Bayer, 81, of the Camp Grove area, died Sunday evening at St. Francis hospital, Kewanee, where she has been a patient for 23 months.

Born March 23 1876, in Peoria, she was a daughter of Charles and Cathryn Abele Kratz. She was married in Peoria to Chris Bayer and he died in 1946.

Surviving are three sons, Joe and Frank Bayer, both of Camp Grove, and Herbert Bayer of Plainfield; one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Streitmatter Wyoming; one step-son, Elmer Bayer, Wyoming; 16 grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Folkers, Mrs. Lydia Cushin and Mrs. Sarah Sordison, all of Peoria. Her parents, a step-son, Edward Bayer, and one brother, Charles Kratz, preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 1:30 p .m. CST Wednesday at St. Timothy’s Lutheran church Castleton. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the Cox memorial home.
