She was 77 years of age. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the

Mrs. Bayer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Schwab, was born on
Feb. 16, 1868 in Reisuch, Germany. She came to the United States in 1895

Speer, and Lena, now Mrs. Frank Streitmatter of Wyoming, and two sons,
Paul of the Duncan community and August, who passed away October 9,
1926.
Mr. and Mrs. Bayer lived on a farm in Peoria county for a

After that time she made her home with her children. She was a kind and
loving mother and endeared herself to many, many friends and neighbors.
Surviving are the three children ten grandchildren and one nephew
Fred Schwab of Peoria.
