John L. Barler Services Sunday

For John L. Barler, 73, of Stark, who died at 1 a. m. Friday at his home, funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Gillespic Memorial Home in Wyoming with C. E. Mannschott of Peoria officiating. Burial will be in Springfellow cemetery. Friends may call at the memorial home after 1 p. m. today.

Born Jan. 2, 1874 in Duncan, he married Winnie Hall on Feb. 25, 1910 in Wyoming. He had lived in the community for over 50 years and been a rural mail carrier since 1934. He was a member of the Congregational church at Stark and the Wyoming lodge, Modern Woodsman of America.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie M. Merrill and Mrs. Mildred I. Roger, both of Peoria; a son, Harry M. Barler of Princeville; a sister, Mrs. Belle Arnold of Waukegan; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
