Saturday Wedding Unites Mildred Cox And Hannah City Man
Miss Mildred Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph M. Cox of Wyoming and Gene
Stear, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stear of Hanna City, were united in marriage
Saturday morning, July 5, at 8 o’clock in St. Dominick’s church.
Mrs. Betty Banz served as matron of honor. Miss Jean Cox and Miss Lois Cox
served as bridesmaids. They are all sisters of the bride.
Jerome Powers, brother-in-law of the bridegroom served as best man. The head
usher was Douglas Banz brother-in-law of the bride and Richard Carroll and Jerry
Sager cousins of the bride were ushers.
Mr. and Mrs. Stear are both employed at Caterpillar Tractor Co., in Peoria and
will reside in an apartment on North Street in Peoria.
