Harriet E. Kerns Is Bride Of Dean King

Miss Harriet E. Kerns of Peoria daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Kerns of Toulon and granddaughter of Mrs. Almina Kerns and Oscar Graves of Princeville and Dean King, son of Mrs. Frank Stratton of Toulon, were united in marriage Sunday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Chapel, Hamilton Blvd., Peoria. Rev. Atkinson Young read the single ring ceremony and attendants were Robert Dunn of East Peoria and Miss Jane Taylor of Peoria.

Mr. King was graduated from the Toluca high school and attended the University of Illinois. He is employed in the engineering department at LeTourneau’s in Peoria.

Mrs. King was graduated from the Toulon township high school with the class of 1940; attending Dickerson Business college in Peoria and for the past two years has been employed by the National Cylinder and Gas company in Peoria.

The couple will reside at 400 Ravine avenue in Peoria.
