Miss Virginia Kerns Becomes June Bride Of William R. Hall
Miss Virginia Kerns daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kerns of Toulon, son of Mrs.
Ernest Boyer and William R. Hall, Sr., of Peoria were united in marriage at the
home of the bride’s parents Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock. The double ring
ceremony was read by Rev. Charles E. Page, pastor of the First Congregational
church in Toulon.
Mrs. Dean D. King, sister of the bride was matron of honor. Richard
McLaughlin, cousin of the bridegroom, served as best man.
The couple will make their home in Renchville.
Mrs. Hall is a graduate of Toulon township high school and Liberty Beauty
school in Peoria and in now employed at the Arlene Beauty shop in Peoria.
Mrs. Hall served three and one-half years in the South West Pacific area with
the U. S. Coast Guard. He will attend Bradley college this summer.
Mrs. Almina Kerns, Princeville, is the bride’s grandmother and Oscar Graves,
Princeville, is her grandfather.
