Miss Hazel Irene Cobb, Calvin Fritz Are Wed
Miss
Hazel Irene Cobb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Cobb, became the bride of
Calvin C. Fritz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fritz, all of Toulon, at a lovely
home wedding at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. Rev. Arthur O. Charsky, pastor of the
Baptist church, officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Miss Maxine Roth, of Peoria, served as maid of honor and Miss Margaret
Atkins, also of Peoria, served as bride maid. Leo C. Graves, of Princeville,
cousin of the groom, was best man and James E. Durbin, of Toulon, brother-in-law
of the bride served as usher.
Mrs. Fritz was graduated for Toulon High school and Principia college at
Elsah, Illinois and since has been employed in Peoria.
Mr. Fritz graduated from Toulon High school and has been engaged in farming
with his father except for the time spent in the army during World War II.
After a trip through the south the couple will reside near Toulon.
