Couple Shown Cutting Wedding Cake Following Church Ceremony Saturday

Miss Anna Mar Morrissey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Morrissey of Wyoming and John F. Cox, of Toulon, son of Mrs. Virginia Streed Cox and J. Edgar Cox, both of San Diego Calif., were united in marriage Saturday morning at 9 o’clock in St. Dominick’s church in Wyoming.

Miss Mary Jane Morrissey, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid.

Serving as best man was Lester Streed, uncle of the bridegroom.

The bride is a graduate of Wyoming Community high school and for the past four years has been employed as a bookkeeper in the State Bank in Toulon.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the Calipatria, Calif., high school. He served four years in the United States Navy, doing foreign service in Japan. Since he was discharged from service he has made his home with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Streed in their home south of Toulon. He is employed by the General Telephone Company of Illinois.

The couple will make their home in Minonk after April 13.
