Edward Conley and Joyce Smith Wed Her Saturday
Saturday morning, November 23, at 9 o’clock Miss Joyce Smith and Edward Conley
were united in marriage in a single ring ceremony performed by the Rev. J. A.
Gordon at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic church in Princeville.
Miss Smith is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Smith of Los Angeles Calif.,
and Mrs. Conley is the son of John Conley of Edelstein.
Attendants were John
F. Conley the bridegroom’s brother and Miss Pauline Kaufman of Gridley. Tommy
Fogerty and Bob Callery were ushers.
Due to the illness of the bridegroom’s father the Conleys did not take a
trip. They are residing in an apartment at the Wilbur Mummert home.
The new Mrs. Conley is employed as bookkeeper at Graves Motor company and Mr.
Conley at Pabst Brewing company in Peoria.
