Double Ring Ceremony Unites Popular Princeville Young Couple
Baskets of white gladioli decorated the alter of the Princeville Methodist
church September 13 for the double ring ceremony which united in marriage Miss
Wilma Wieland, niece of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Huber, and Donald R. Baughman, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Locher of Princeville. Rev. James J. Gross officiated at
the two o’clock candlelight service.
Mrs. Evelyn Paul, sister of the Bride, was matron of honor. Mrs. Martha
Alltop, sister of the groom was the brides’ matron. Little Brian Paul, nephew of
the bride was the ring bearer.
Claude Rockel was best man and the ushers were Robert Alltop, Alvin English
illusion caught to a crown on Bouton and Glenn Sniff Jr.
The new Mrs. Baughman received her education in the Princeville schools and
has been employed at the Home Insurance Company in Peoria. Mr. Baughman received
his education in Galesburg and Princeville schools and served four years in the
Far East Command and Korea. He is now employed with the Santa Fe Railroad
The popular couple will reside in Joliet when they return from their
honeymoon, where they have a home ready.
