Rites Tomorrow For Rock Island Accident Victim

Funeral services for Charles J. Brandenburg, 32 years old, 1408 Thirty-first street Rock Island, street light inspector for the Peoples Power Company, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident last Saturday night, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Presbyterian church in Milan.

Mr. Brandenburg died at 8 o'clock Saturday night in St. Anthonys hospital, an hour after the tower truck on which he was standing to repair a street light at Twelfth street and Eleventh avenue, Rock Island was hit by an auto. The driver of the auto was Soloman Langman, 1816 Twelfth street, Rock Island. When the impact occured, Mr. Brandenburg was pitched 15 feet from the top of the tower.

A short private service at the home will precede the church funeral for Mr. Brandenburg tomorrow. The Rev. R.E. Lemon, pastor of the Milan church will oficiate at both services,assisted by the Rev. W.G. Oglevee, pastor of South Park Presbyterian church Rock Island. Burial will be in Chippiannock. The body will be removed to the residence this morning.
