Clifford Wetzel


Clifford B. Wetzel, 68, of Braymer, MO., formerly of Colchester and Macomb, died Wednesday at Kansas City Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Braymer, MO.

He was born Nov. 29, 1912, near Colchester. He lived in Macomb until joining the U. S Navy in which he served for 20 years. He married Hazel Griffin. Following the marriage they moved to Braymer, MO., where he was a painter.

Surviving are his widow; two grandchildren; one brother, Gerald of Macomb; four sisters, Iris Berresford and Florence Craft of Macomb, Vergene Bland of Lewistown and Maxine Mayes of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Ann Murdock; two brothers, Roscoe and Harry; and two sisters, Enid Sundell and Mariam Carson.
