Enid Sundell

 

Mrs. Enid Sundell, 89, of 221 S. White died at 8:33 a.m. Tuesday (11 Sep 1979) in McDonough District Hospital.

Born Sept. 16, 1889, in Eldorado Township, a daughter of Allen and Anna May Foster Wetzel, she married E. P. Sundell. He preceded her in death.

She moved to Chicago in 1910, and lived in several other communities in the United States where her husband was employed as an air mechanic with Pan American Airlines. She moved to Macomb in 1951.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Macomb Chapter of D.A.R., and Order of Eastern Star at Oneida.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. E.J. (Eloise) Mayes of Hialeah, Fla.; two brothers, Gerald Wetzel of rural Macomb, and Clifford Wetzel of Braymer, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Iris Berresford and Mrs. Carl (Florence) Craft, both of Macomb, Mrs. Claude (Vergene) Bland of Lewistown, and Mrs. George (Maxine) Mayes of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Chapel, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.

The Rev. Kenneth Mortonson will officiate and burial will be in Harris Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Macomb D.A.R or First Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services have been set for Enid Sundell, 89, of Macomb for 1:30 p.m. Friday (14 Sep 1979) at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Chapel in Macomb.

Mrs. Sundell died at 8:33 a.m. Tuesday (11 Sep 1979) at McDonough District Hospital.

The Rev. Kenneth Mortonson will officiate. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery in Table Grove. Friends may call at the chapel and visitation with the family will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to General Macomb Chapter DAR or the First Presbyterian Church.
