Haskell Rutledge


Haskell M Rutledge, a son of George and Gertrude (Halan) Rutledge, was born February 1, 1914, at Good Hope, Illinois and lived there until three years ago when he enlisted in the United States Army. His period of enlistment was over late in April and he re-enlisted, receiving a two-months' furlough, which he was spending with his parents in Good Hope. He was a member of the medical corps at Ft. Des Moines, Iowa.

Besides his parents, he leaves two brothers, Elzie Rutledge of Albion, Ill., and Ronald Rutledge of Good Hope. Another brother, Forrest Rutledge, was killed in an accident while a member of the army air corps several years ago.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed. Friends may call at the Lady funeral home. Date handwritten on the obituary says May 10, 1937.
