Eldo Sarff

BATH -- Eldo "Speed" Sarff, 92, of rural Bath died at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1992, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

Born Oct. 12, 1899, in Snicarte to Willard and Lurana Emerick Sarff, he married Elsie Lane on April 11, 1931, in Havana. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Nancy Fletcher of Bath; one son, Jerry of Kewanee; three grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Seven brothers and five sisters preceded him in death. He was a commercial fisherman.

He was a member of Mount Sinai Church in Snicarte and Modern Woodmen Lodge.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Bath.

Memorials may be made to Fairview Cemetery Fund.
