BATH -- Harold R. Kramer, 64,
of rural Bath died at 5:47 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 1997, at Roudebush Veterans
Administration Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born April 27, 1933, in Bath to Russell and J. Evelyn Breeden Kramer, he
married Sylvia Burnett on Aug. 27, 1955, in Phoenix. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Aaron and
Kevin, both of Phoenix; six grandchildren; one brother, Mark of Bath; and six
sisters, Theresa Smith of Bath, Mrs. James (Kathleen) Sarff and Marlene Taylor,
both of Chandlerville, Cynthia Kramer of Lincoln, Carol Ash of Lacey, Wash., and
Debbie Milligan of Springfield.
He attended Hopewell Baptist Church in rural Bath.
An operating engineer, he was a member of Operating Engineers Local 302 in
Alaska and Operating Engineers Local 429 in Phoenix.
A Korean War Air Force veteran, he was a member of the Disabled American
Veterans Chapter 11 in Hot Springs, N.M., and a former member of the American
Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. The
Revs. Mike Hobbs and Ray Cheshire will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8
p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Snicarte Cemetery in rural
Bath, where military rites will be accorded by the VFW Honor Guard.
Memorials may be made to the Harold R. Kramer trust fund established at
Havana National Bank.
