Death Summons Mrs. K. Weidlein At Home May 15
Survivors Of Former Kittie Marlatt are Husband and Two Daughters

Mrs. W. Elmer Weidlein, for many years a resident of this community and a native of Munson township died  at 10:05 Wednesday morning May15th at her home northwest of Geneseo.  She had been ill for several months and bedfast the past four months. 

She was  formerly Kattie Marlatt, daughter of George and Jennie Calhoun Marlatt.  She was born in Munson township on November 28, 1868.  She grew up in Geneseo and when a child went to Clinton, Illinois  to make her home with her uncle, Dr. William Calhoun.  She attended the schools at Clinton and was married there to W. Elmer Weidlein, of Geneseo on February 15, 1887.  Immediately after their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Weidlein settled on a farm in Morristown community. Later they went to Kansas and operated a farm neat Wichita for seventeen years.  They return to Geneseo a number of years ago and had since resided here.  Mrs. Weidlein was a member of the Royal Neighbors of Osco and was a member of what was formerly the Lutheran-church at Morristown.  Surviving ate the husband, W. Elmer Weidlein: two daughters, Mrs. ???? Brodine, of Orion and Mrs. William Ray, of Galva: six grandchildren: one sister, Mrs. Oscar Glenn, of Santa Maria, California: also two aunts, Mrs. Walter S. Lambert of Geneseo and Mrs. E.L. Hill of Des Moines, Iowa.  Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Myers chapel, Rev. M.A. Odell of the Orion Lutheran church officiating.  Burial will be in Morristown cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Cas??, Be?? Rogers, Arnold Johnson,  ??? Noonan, Robert Baze and Otis ??sser.  (This obit was on a crease so some words not able to read)
