my families that were in Henderson Co.  Alexander and Sarah May Dunn were from Kentucky and settled
in the Hopper area ca 1838.  Alexander died in 1844 and is buried in Hopper Cemetery.  Sarah m. a Mr. Cowan and moved to live with
her family in Sagetown or Gladstone after the Civil War.  One of Sarah's daughters was my Great-Grandmother Harriet Dunn Morgan. She
m. in 1842 a Joseph Morgan.  Harriet and Joseph had 6 children that died very young and they are buried in Hopper.  There must have
been fever or chlorea then.  They had 5 more children who grew up in Henderson Co.  I descend from their daugter Sadie Morgan Hauer.
Joseph and Harriet are buried in Oquawka Cem.  Joseph was in the Civil War.   I would give anything to find out what happened to Sarah
May Dunn Cowan.  She was living in Gladstone with the family on the 1880 census then?????.  I cannot find her buried in Henderson Co.
