Hyatt-Thompson-Putman Cemetery

Hyatt-Thompson-Putman Cemetery is located in the southeast portion of Section 2 in Putman Township. If you are traveling on Highway 5 in a southwesterly direction out of Canton, watch for the Wee-Ma-Tuk Country Club sign.  Turn right there on Wee-Ma-Tuk Road (1700E). Follow this road straight north until it turns into a dirt road.  You are now on Hyatt Cemetery Road.  Follow this road until you see the cemetery on your left. Many heartfelt thanks to the person who takes care of this scenic cemetery!

Photographs taken by J. Crandell on February 18, 2004

Below is a "walk-through" I did on February 18, 2004.  Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of snow on the ground, so there's a possibility that I might have missed a few stones.  Some stones were broken and/or totally unreadable, as shown in the above picture.  I will try to visit this cemetery in the spring to find more stones and take more pictures as well.  Thank you!
