Friendship Church and Cemetery are located in very western McDonough County. From the small town of Tennessee located on US Route 136, go north on the Blandinsville Road (Highway 11?) for approximately three miles. Turn west on highway 8 at the junction locally known as Cuba’s Corner. It is easily located by the yellow house/outbuildings located on the northeast corner of the intersection. Go west on highway 8 for approximately 2 miles. Friendship Church and Cemetery are on the south side of the highway. The cemetery is well maintained and the old Church building looks to be in very good shape also. Church and cemetery are located in Tennessee Township, NW of NW of section 5, T. 5 N. – R. 4 W.
