Schroeder, Dorothy M.

Funeral services for Dorothy M. Schroeder, 71, of 1901 Roberta Lane, Champaign, IL will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 509 S. Mattis Ave., Champaign.The Rev. James Wright and the Rev. Mark Elliott will officiate.

Burial will be in Craw Cemetery, Sadorus.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy, IL.

Mrs. Schroeder died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday (June 2, 1998) at The Carle Arbours, Savoy, IL.

She was born Nov. 13, 1926, at Sadorus, a daughter of Wayne and Evelyn Prestin Moore. She married Walter E. Schroeder on April 6, 1947, at Champaign. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Deborah Ann Clark of Homer, Diane Kay Schaub of Fisher and Denise Lynn Dalton of Mahomet, six grandchildren, and a brother, Dick Moore of Loxahatchee, Fla.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Mrs. Schroeder was a clerk at the Fields store in Champaign and was a hostess for many years at the Red Wheel Restaurant in Champaign. She worked with the United Service Organizations during World War II. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Chamapaign.
